Packer

Join our team as a Packer where you will play a crucial role in ensuring products are packed efficiently and ready for distribution. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail to maintain product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Shift & Pay: 3rd Shift - (11pm - 7am) - $17/hr

Responsibilities

• Pack materials as they come off the production machine.
• Build boxes for product packaging and stage materials for shipping.
• Maintain a steady pace to meet production targets.
• Inspect small parts and ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing and assembly.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds regularly.
• Capability to stand for extended periods, with rotations every 2 hours.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with leads, supervisors, and managers.
• Ability to read Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work orders.
• Basic computer skills to access work instructions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
• Familiarity with clean room protocols and medical assembly.

Work Environment

Work in a clean room environment on the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am. Employees must be comfortable with gowning up, wearing cleanroom attire including booties, facial hair covers, and hair nets. Close-toed shoes are required, and lockers are available for personal belongings. The role may require sitting or standing for up to 11 hours a day in a medical device company setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
