Accounting Assistant

EMSL Analytical, Inc., one of the largest environmental testing firms in the United States, is currently seeking a Full Time Accounting Assistant at our corporate location in Cinnaminson, NJ. This candidate will assist the Accounting Specialist with the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Invoice change request processing this includes understanding and adjusting invoice status and issuing credit memos
• Move invoices through the lab system and into the accounting system (batch process and posting)
• Support billing for Products Division and special billing for contract clients
• Special credit card charging activity
• Credit card batch post processing and uploading receipts to accounting system
• Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the manager

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Accounting or related field is required
• Three plus years' experience of relevant accounting processing experience is required
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely and without restriction or sponsorship
• Strong understanding of order entry/billing process, Accounts Receivable process and accounting cycle
• Knowledge of Macola/Modular Accounting Software, Invoicing and Accounts Receivable accounting software is needed
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments and be deadline oriented for all projects
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Available Shift:

Position is full-time Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Candidates living with a commutable distance of Cinnaminson, NJ are encouraged to apply.
