Accounts Receivable Manager
Location: Kent / On-site
Salary Range: $92,000 - $109,000 DOE

Our client, a respected national organization with a long-standing reputation for excellence in service, innovation, and industry partnerships, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead a high-performing credit and collections team. As the Accounts Receivable Manager , you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and customer trust through strong credit assessment and receivables management practices. This is a hands-on leadership role that offers the opportunity to impact process improvements, support key company initiatives, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee credit risk assessment for potential members and set customized credit terms within company policy.
  • Lead a team of at least four professionals, providing mentoring, training, and support while fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Manage the onboarding and termination of member accounts, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and communication across departments.
  • Review and analyze company financials for creditworthiness and risk, applying your expertise in credit analysis and accounting best practices.
  • Drive strategic improvements in AR workflows and delinquent account management, including recovery strategies and alternate payment plans.
  • Oversee UCC filing processes and ensure loss payee coverage on member insurance policies.
  • Handle daily ACH uploads, monthly billing for dues and credit insurance, and coordinate the annual credit insurance renewal in partnership with the CFO.
  • Represent the credit department with professionalism across both internal teams and external stakeholders, including at semiannual tradeshows.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a minimum of five years' experience in Credit and Accounts Receivable.
  • Demonstrated success in credit analysis, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess business risk.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience, with a track record of managing a team of 4+ members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills with a preference for in-person collaboration.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and efficient with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • A stable work history reflecting dependability, confidentiality, and integrity.
