Job Title:   Allergist/Immunologist

Location: Klamath Falls, OR
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Allergy & Immunology
Reports To: Medical Director or Department Head

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and board-certified  Allergist/Immunologist to join our growing medical team in Klamath Falls. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients with allergies, asthma, and immune system disorders, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing (e.g., skin prick tests, blood tests).
• Diagnose and manage allergic conditions (e.g., food, environmental, drug allergies), asthma, and immunologic disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy and medication management.
• Educate patients and families on allergy prevention, treatment adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health systems.
• Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in allergy and immunology.
• Supervise and train clinical staff on allergy testing protocols and patient care procedures.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology.
• Board certification (or eligibility) in Allergy and Immunology.
• Valid Oregon medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-focused care.
