Salary: up to $50,000 per year

Intimate Apparel Production Assistant

The Production Assistant is responsible for entering purchase order information into Blue Cherry, as well as keeping track of new styles production T&A, and production samples.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in new style review with team to get familiar with line, and determine as a team special packaging needs, such as Disclaimer tags, special hangers, special hangtag or label placement for PO entering detail.

• Responsible for entering and sending factory purchase orders to factories for replenishment orders, and assisting in new style orders, with correct detail. Review for correct quantities pipe and fill, correct delivery dates, correct purchase order FOB price by size, by referring the master cost chart, correct size quantities, correct packing details.

• Handle Branded item and guest brand PO requests, setting up styles in Blue Cherry and enter the purchase order in Blue Cherry.

• Manage Quick Response (QR) orders by entering on excel log, and issuing QR excel orders and sending to HK team.

• Maintain Bulk panty orders chart and keep blue cherry and forecast up to date based on pull quantities.

• Monitor new styles T&A, keeping the new style chart up to date with key approval dates, and ensure we are meeting all delivery milestones. Meet with Sr. Production manager and Director Biweekly for status report.

• Maintain Production T&A file and send to HK team weekly so that they can be aware of upcoming deliveries and advise production plan dates.

• Set up red status chart each season, and work with Production and technical design team to determine which styles are priority.

• Assist with Bulk Material Testing and Garment Testing follow up, and with filing garments and submissions.

• Assist with Special Blue Cherry Infinity projects that arise.

• Review and log receipt of Top of Production samples (TOPs) and hand over for review.

• Callout any Top of Production packaging discrepancies to QC team for factory review.

• Update TOP sample requirement chart with new sizes and/or quantities as needed.

• Assist in requesting and follow up for special sample requests from cross functional teams for store events or photo shoots with factories for cross functional teams.

• Responsible to send weekly packages to the Hong Kong Office.

• Assist in updating delivery dates in Blue Cherry as needed.

• Act as Back up for other Team members as needed, assisting with a variety of tasks, such as Style Master set up in Blue Cherry, entering packing lists in Blue Cherry, handling customs documents, reviewing and approving hangtags and care labels, Assist in Color follow up and administration etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree Production Management or related degree
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
• 1-2 years experience with data entry (internships count) - Apparel experience a plus
• Knowledge of Blue Cherry or similar systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail a must.

Full Time: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Work Location: In-office 4 days and remote 1 day
