Job Description:
This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Valley Medical Center and will be narrowed during the interview process based on several factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
Minimum of two years previous Audiologist experience preferred.
Current Washington State Audiologist license required.
Doctoral Au.D degree required.
Familiarity with fitting software preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills, to include assessments, problem solving and efficient decision making.
Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills with a diverse population to include patients, medical staff, and front office staff.
Participation in professional organizations and demonstration of continuing interest in education and professional growth.

Essential Responsibilities and Competencies:
Provides hearing assessments,
Conduct hearing aid selection, fitting and maintenance.
Provide hearing rehabilitation, education and counseling.
Uses audiometers, computers, and other testing devices to evaluate and diagnose hearing disorders.
Fits and dispenses hearing aids.
Provides counseling for adjusting to hearing loss and training on the use of hearing instruments.
