Location: Mesa, AZ (Onsite) Pay Rate: $30/hr+ DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM during tax season; 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM in non-tax season.

Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for helping small businesses stay financially organized? A growing CPA firm in Mesa, AZ is seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their collaborative in-office team. This is a direct hire opportunity with flexible hours and a supportive environment!
Key Responsibilities - Bookkeeper / Accountant
Manage accounting and bookkeeping functions for multiple clients
Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable
Handle general ledger entries and journal postings
Complete bank reconciliations and monthly financial reports
Assist with cleanup projects and transitions to QuickBooks Online
Help with tax prep for all clients
Qualifications - Bookkeeper / Accountant
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, working with multiple clients
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required
Experience with Drake Software (for tax prep) is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
CPA not required, but strong accounting knowledge is expected
