Job Description
Robert Half is currently seeking a Bookkeeper in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As a Bookkeeper, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities including handling the general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, bank reconciliations, invoice processing, month-end closing procedures, and more.

Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
• Support audit activities by gathering and providing necessary documentation for financial line items.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring invoices align with appropriate line items.
• Perform comprehensive bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations and month-end closings.
• Accurately input data into financial systems to maintain up-to-date records.
• Retrieve and match invoices from physical storage for proper documentation.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong skills in bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.
• Expertise in using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data management.
• Familiarity with audit procedures and supporting documentation requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in data entry and financial records.
• Knowledge of general ledger maintenance and invoice matching.
