Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a contract to hire role with our client in the financial industry in Minneapolis, MN. This role is hybrid, 4 days in office per week. Summary We're looking for an experienced Business Data Analyst who thrives in uncovering data insights from complex systems. This role is perfect for someone with strong analytical chops and a passion for using data to drive strategic business decisions. The DCD team is working on technical debt and is the team that connects the data for the client application to display correctly. The right candidate will become a SME on multiple business processes and most days will be different than the day before it. The successful candidate will be the person that thrives in a multi-faceted environment and can pivot accordingly. Key Responsibilities Analyze business processes and data flows across departments Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data requirements Design and optimize SQL queries to extract meaningful insights Work with APIs to pull or integrate data—Postman experience a big plus Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support operational goals Identify gaps in data and proactively seek out solutions, even with minimal guidance Required Qualifications 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, with a deep focus on data analysis Strong SQL querying skills; comfortable with relational databases Experience working with APIs, ideally using Postman Self-starter attitude with the ability to locate, interpret, and connect disparate data sources Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams Compensation: Hourly W2 Pay: $70.00-$80.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
