About the Role*
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Operations developer. Ideal candidates should have familiarity with operational-based technologies such as Batch processing, ETL loads, SQL management, and C# service development. Additionally they should have a strong understanding of traditional operational offerings such as Intelliclear, FIS, Broadridge, or Sungard. The candidate will be responsible for the full suite of operational delivery, ranging from development of functional business services to translating requirements into fit-for-purpose solutions. Your day-to-day will include working closely with developers and business representatives across our organization, helping to ensure our Operations and Clearing offerings are fully realized.
Skills and Experience5+ years of experience as an Operations TechnologistExpert-level knowledge of Batch process development, ETL file loads and C# service developmentIntermediate-level knowledge of traditional Operations and Clearing offerings such as Intelliclear, FIS, Sungard, etcStrong understanding of SQL Server and Postgres databases and efficient query developmentUnderstanding of business requirements around Margin, Buying Power, Regulatory, Clearing, Corporate Actions, etcExperience with unit testing frameworks and general best practicesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team with geo-dispersed individuals
