Description of the role: The Weekend Warrior Caregiver role is a position within Senior Helpers - Lafayette, a leading home care company in Lafayette, Louisiana. As a Weekend Warrior Caregiver, you will primarily work on weekends, including every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This role is suitable for individuals who are currently in school or work Monday to Friday and are looking to provide care and support to others on weekends. Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate and competent care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transferring activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up.
• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary needs and preferences.
• Give medication reminders as per clients' care plan.
• Document daily activities and any changes in clients' condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the Senior Helpers team.

Requirements:

• Availability to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Ability to work both day and night shifts.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, ranging from 4-hour shifts to 12-hour shifts.
• Familiarity with the Acadiana area and the willingness to travel to clients' homes.
