The Carrier Support Specialist will be responsible for marketing insurance products and services offered by Ritter Insurance Marketing to agents/agencies focusing on a primary carrier. They will maintain and enhance current agent/agency relationships throughout the service area and enhancing the relationship with the primary carrier/carrier representatives. Primary Responsibilities include making targeted outbound calls to agents/agencies interested in offering insurance products for the specific carrier, making courtesy calls to top agents, continued agent outreach to increase engagement, production and recruitment, taking incoming calls with questions about the specific carrier, understanding and using all online services provided by Ritter Insurance Marketing, completing assigned Service Requests with timely follow-up, assisting in facilitating and sharing carrier information with internal departments, providing necessary templates and product information for contract requests, assisting with sales and marketing events and meetings, interpreting and analyzing plan data to make recommendations, assisting in development and execution of carrier sales and marketing plans, attending carrier trainings, events, and webinars, developing and maintaining professional relationships with Carrier Contacts, and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned. Primary Skills & Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic understanding of insurance and agent relationships, knowledge of sales, marketing, licensing, and new business operations, some experience preferred but not required, good communication and customer service skills, good computer and typing skills, soft sales skills, and ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
