About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead the clinical development strategy for its promising therapeutic asset in the autoimmune space. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of the clinical development plan across all phases, including clinical operations, regulatory engagement, and medical affairs activities. This role requires a seasoned medical leader with an MD and extensive experience in clinical development within the autoimmune, immunology, or hepatology fields. The CMO will also serve as the internal medical and scientific expert, collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy, and represent the company in external communications. Building and managing clinical development teams and ensuring scientific and ethical excellence in all clinical trial activities are also key responsibilities.
