Job Purpose Reporting into the Chief Design Officer, this role carries responsibility for adding value to the design team from earliest research and insight through to green light for manufacture, as well as leadership and management. You will be working on projects in a diverse and growing product portfolio, focusing on mobile phone, laptop, and tablet accessories, as well as screen protection solutions. As CMF Designer, you will be responsible for bringing products to market, liaising daily between Product Design, Category Managers, and Marketers, as well as Project, Engineering, and Quality Control Teams. You will become an integral part of the launch program for Telementum, requiring the ability to observe and communicate evidence-based foundations for creative direction, concepts, and an awareness of the wider technical, functional, cost, and manufacturing implications of your design thinking. Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of category leading CMF Design of our products.
• Support in sourcing and maintaining a comprehensive internal library of materials and finishes.
• Ideation and development of colors, materials, and finishes.
• Actively grow the CMF function at Telementum.
• Discover new resources for materials to enhance innovation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams.
• Guide project teams and customers through the design process.
• Plan and facilitate workshops with internal teams and clients.
• Support new business efforts and shape proposal approaches.
• Work closely with Product Design and Engineering teams.
• Liaise with partner manufacturers on collaborative design projects.
• Assist in project planning and provide technical support.
• Solve complex problems with manufacturing departments.

Requirements

• A degree in Textile Design, Color and Material Design, Product or Industrial Design or equivalent (Desirable).
• Professional CMF experience.
• Highly motivated and collaborative with excellent communication skills.
• Superior color vision and eye for detail.
• Ability to travel if required.
• Proficient in software tools including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Office Suite.
• Understanding of both soft and hard material developments.
• Ability to interpret and communicate research findings.
