We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Loan Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to develop strong relationships with small and medium-sized businesses, focusing on high levels of service and quick loan processing times, while maintaining a customer-centric approach to banking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on Commercial & Industrial (C&I) lending, with at least 50% of your responsibilities dedicated to building and managing a portfolio in this area.
• Manage and grow a book of business primarily within C&I companies and commercial real estate.
• Collaborate with a committee-based credit approval process, enabling quick decisions on loan requests.
• Cultivate relationships with small and medium-sized businesses, municipalities, and other local entities.
• Provide tailored financial solutions to clients, helping them grow and succeed while maintaining a focus on excellent customer service.
• Assist in the transition and succession planning for the retiring banker’s portfolio, ensuring seamless client continuity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong experience in C&I lending with a proven track record of success.
• Some experience in commercial real estate lending is preferred.
• Existing portfolio of C&I companies, municipalities, or small/medium-sized business clients.
• Prior experience in community banking is highly valued and aligns well with the bank’s culture and operational style.
• Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the institution’s high-service approach and quick loan turnaround.
