This role will support our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.
Job Description and Responsibilities: Performs programmatic or technical leadership roles in an organization identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and guide the engineering development of modern complex systems; and to employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of advanced complex systems and when appropriate, conduct research in applied systems engineering to advance the field. Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. Has experience in computer systems / networks design across physical platforms, boundaries, and data transfer/transport methods. May supervise the manufacturing and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components. May oversee or inspect the performance and quality of junior or journey level employees.
Education and Basic Requirements: Basic: Associates degree or appropriate Navy CSWF training, certification(s), or on the job training.
Intermediate: Bachelors degree from an accredited university OR approved CSWF training and certification. 3 or more years experience or relevant military OJT.
Advanced: Graduate degree from an accredited university OR approved CSWF training OR certification. 7 or more years experience or relevant military OJT.
Security Clearance: Secret (Must be U.S. Citizen)
