LaSalle Network is working with a client that is hiring a Build and Configuration Technician for a part-time, on-site role in Buffalo Grove. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to jump into meaningful IT work—this is it. You’ll be hands-on with Chromebooks, Windows laptops, and tablets, setting up devices that power schools and businesses. No ticketing. No troubleshooting. Just straight-up, step-by-step build and imaging work.

This is a part-time role (16 hours/week) with flexible scheduling. Come in two full days a week or break it up into four half days—whatever works. 

Build and Configuration Technician Responsibilities:

• Assemble, image and repackage Windows, ChromeOS, and Android devices

• Reimage school district Chromebooks: connect, image, move to the next

• Box up, label and prep devices for shipment

• Follow detailed processes with zero guesswork

• Maintain a fast pace and clean quality record

• Work closely with a small, experienced team onsite

Build and Config Technician Requirements:

• Basic computer literacy and comfort handling tech hardware

• Ability to follow procedures to the letter—every time

• No degree needed, but sharp thinking and dependability are a must

• Comfortable with repetitive tasks that require attention to detail

• Reliable transportation to Buffalo Grove for on-site work

• Open to Year Up, Per Scholas, or similar entry-level IT talent
