Job Description
Financial Reporting:
· Prepare and analyze financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) on a monthly and annual basis. · Ensure all financial reports are accurate and delivered to management on time. General Ledger Management: · Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. · Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with GAAP. Capital Asset File Management · Maintain capital assets record keeping files. · Submit quarterly additions, deletions, and transfers accurately to outside CPA firm for depreciation and amortization calculations. Audit Support: · Coordinate and support external audits. · Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries. Tax Compliance: · Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government tax requirements. · Research tax issues and stay informed about changes in tax regulations. Financial Analysis: · Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. · Provide management with financial insights and recommendations.
