Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Curriculum Specialist to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about research, curriculum development and instructional excellence, with a strong background in PK-8 education. This role involves collaborating with faculty to enhance curriculum design, integrating innovative teaching strategies, and ensuring alignment with educational standards and the school's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, and refine curriculum across all grade levels to ensure alignment with state and national standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Provide professional development and training sessions for faculty on curriculum implementation and instructional strategies.
  • Analyze student performance data to inform curriculum adjustments and instructional practices.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
  • Stay current with educational research and best practices to continuously improve curriculum and instruction.
  • Support teachers in differentiating instruction to meet diverse student needs.
  • Serve as a liaison between faculty and administration regarding curriculum matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in PK-8 education.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and instructional coaching.
  • Strong understanding of educational standards and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in integrating technology into the curriculum.
