A Brief Overview As a Data Project Manager, you will lead and oversee data governance projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. You will collaborate closely with the Legal, Compliance and Data and Analytics teams to align project goals with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Your role will involve developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance. Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels will be essential to provide updates, gather requirements, and ensure alignment. Additionally, you will identify and mitigate risks associated with data governance projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data governance practices. What you will do Project Management: Lead and oversee data governance and regulatory projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Ability to manage strategic projects across global functions, regions and lines of business. Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks across several projects or focus areas Ability to transition teams from project completion to business operations Support Legal, Compliance and Data Teams: Ensure timely and accurate development and maintenance of templates, tools, systems, processes, reports for supporting project and portfolio management Stay up to date on data governance policies and requirements impacting the biopharma industry Identify and mitigate risks associated with data governance projects, ensuring proactive measures are in place. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data governance practices and project management processes Communication: Provide clear and visible communication to all stakeholders. High facilitation and collaboration skills Work in close partnership with Legal and Data and Analytics teams to align project goals with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Leadership: Strong leadership skills - must be able to work confidently and effectively with multiple departments and levels within the company. Vision and passion for continuous improvement. Detailed oriented, highly collaborative, and persistent in the face of obstacles or challenges. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
