Job Duties: - Perform pre and post trip check of truck/trailer equipment to verify full functioning of all brake and light systems, trailer connections, tire air pressure, mechanical condition, safety supplies, and report needs to direct manager
- Do pre and post trip inspections of all dealer trade new vehicles to be trailered, note all damage in writing on check sheet, keep a copy for personal records, and give original to sales managers
- Verify from dealer trade sheet that vehicle to be trailered has the correct VIN, 2 functioning keys, owners books, all accessories, and is free of damage to paint, glass, wheels, and interior
- Report all damage/issues for an incoming dealer trade vehicle to a CAG sales manager prior to departing the trade dealership
- Load, secure, and unload vehicles to be moved using supplied ramps and tie downs following the Truck/Trailer Driver Guidelines
- Operate truck/trailer in a safe manner and in compliance with Federal and State regulations
- As requested - drive new and pre-owned vehicles between dealerships, to and from customers, and auction locations
Qualifications: - Have a high level of motivation for customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, team building - all with a customer focused attitude
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- Experience in Commercial MVR operations
- Valid driver's license
