About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Business and Economics. The successful candidate will be a collaborative, visionary, and strategic leader, responsible for the overall management and advancement of the college. This includes fostering a culture of academic excellence, promoting interdisciplinary learning, and engaging in cutting-edge research. The Dean will also be tasked with program development, accreditation oversight, and ensuring the success of students, faculty, and staff. Candidates for the Dean position must have a Ph.D. in a business discipline from an AACSB International Accredited institution, with qualifications suitable for a tenured full professor. A minimum of three years of significant senior leadership and administrative experience, as well as a proven record of success in community and professional engagements, are required. The Dean should possess exemplary communication skills, a consensus-building leadership style, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Experience in faculty and staff management, financial resource allocation, and a strong understanding of student recruitment and retention are also essential. The role demands an individual with an innovative and inclusive approach to program development, capable of leading the college in its mission to provide a preeminent and diverse educational experience.
