Teems Fabrication Inc. is growing and needs help!! We are searching for an experienced Delivery Driver for our dayshift.
We are seeking a NON-CDL DELIVERY DRIVER. The ideal candidate will be punctual, organized and safety oriented.
Job requirements:
* Legally operate a motor vehicle and have a driving record that meets the company standards.
* Ability to work in a warehouse environment.
* Ability to perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle.
* Ability to communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to management.
* Ability to work entire shift in extreme heat, cold or rain.
* Ability to manually lift heavy boxes (minimum of 50 lbs.) of stock from shelves in warehouse, including reaching, lifting overhead, stooping down, crouching and climbing ladders.
* Ability to load and unload trucks from ground level or platform.
* Ability to safely operate materials handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.)
* Ability to deliver and/or receive parts from, our customers and suppliers in an efficient and professional manner.
* Attention to detail
* Ability to drive a truck with a gooseneck trailer attached
* Punctual and reliable
* Basic computer knowledge
The person in this position will be primarily responsible for daily deliveries within a 1 -5 hour radius of Ringgold, Ga.
A pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle history report/screen and DOT physical for medical certificate is required.
