We are open to part time or full time, but Fridays and afternoon/evening availability is a must.

We are looking for a loving and kind teacher to join our team! We want someone who wants to have fun with our kids and isn't afraid to be silly! No experience is needed. We will provide and pay you to do all necessary trainings. A background check and fingerprints will need to be completed but we will set it up and pay for it all.

We are looking for a quality early education teacher to support children in their play by modeling appropriate behavior. Teachers will guide them in their exploration and encourage them to use their imagination.

Responsibilities

• Develop a safe and creative program suitable for the age group in your classroom.
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Skills

• Experience as an early education teacher or a willingness to learn
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development
• Excellent supervision skills
• Ability to act in emergency situations
• Compassionate, loving, friendly and reliable
• Certification in child First Aid and CPR (or the willingness to be trained)
• Valid drivers license or reliable/dependable transportation

We just want someone who loves kids and isn't afraid to be silly and have fun!
