The Early Intervention Program Manager oversees the coordination, management, and quality assurance of Early Intervention services within Bernalillo County . This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, family-centered services in alignment with IDEA Part C regulations , agency policies, and state standards.

You will provide supervision and support to a multidisciplinary team while fostering meaningful partnerships with families, providers, and community agencies to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Early Intervention, child development, or human services.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or program management experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal Early Intervention regulations and reporting requirements.
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and maintain all required clearances.

• Oversee daily program operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

• Collaborate with HR to identify staffing needs, participate in recruitment, and coordinate onboarding and training.

• Communicate timely updates regarding Early Intervention standards and policies.

• Monitor service delivery for quality, timeliness, and adherence to family-centered practices.

• Oversee case assignments, service coordination, and documentation within the FIT-KIDS system.

• Analyze program data to track performance and implement continuous improvement strategies.

• Facilitate team meetings, training, and professional development sessions.

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with families, community partners, and state agencies.

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all required documentation, reports, and audits.

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional standards at all times.

• In-depth knowledge of IDEA Part C , Early Intervention practices, and New Mexico FIT Program standards.

• Strong understanding of child development and family-centered service delivery .

• Proven leadership and team-building skills.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

• Skilled in supervision, coaching, and mentoring diverse staff.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data systems such as FIT-KIDS .

• Ability to analyze data and develop program improvement plans.
