Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating & Bid Preparation:

• Perform detailed electrical takeoffs from blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and labor estimates.
• Input takeoff data into estimating software and generate cost models.
• Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify project requirements.
• Write and submit competitive bid proposals.

Skills & Competencies:

• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for RFIs, proposals, and client interactions.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple bids under deadlines.

Licenses:

• Valid state driver’s license (if travel to job sites is required).
