Description Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to help evaluate, set up, and maintain electrical systems in Industrial fields covering the Southeast and predominantly in Georgia. The Superintendent must be able to work over multiple jobsites and crews with minimal supervision.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all field electrical activities: electricians, subcontractors, equipment installation, conduit and wiring, panels, switchgear, etc.
• Monitor field progress vs. schedule; communicate any delays, variances or site issues back to the Project Manager and implement corrective actions.
• Enforce safety protocols, site rules, and compliance with codes and regulations; conduct daily safety inspections.
• Interpret and manage drawings, specs, change directives, site coordination with other trades and the general contractor.
• Coordinate material delivery, subcontractor scheduling, labor allocation, equipment usage and site logistics.
• Perform quality inspections, ensure installations meet company standards and client/owner requirements.
• Liaise between field crews and project management: provide updates, highlight risks/issues, ensure alignment.
• Mentor field supervision, monitor workforce performance, and assist in workforce development and site productivity improvements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• High school diploma or equivalent: completion of an approved apprenticeship program is preferred.
• 10+ years' experience as an electrician with industrial and controls experience
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes (NEC/NFPA), construction methods and equipment
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Ability to use various testing and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent leadership, communications, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights
• Strong commitment to safety with OSHA 30 preferred
• Valid Georgia Driver's license and clean driving record
