Email Developer

The Email Developer will execute digital payments, digital solutions, credit and debit card ad hoc and automated email marketing campaigns and will be a key member of the adoption marketing team. They will be focused on maximizing consumer adoption and ongoing usage of digital payments, digital solutions, credit & debit card solutions. Based on strong hands-on experience, they will develop & QA emails and deploy marketing campaigns leveraging automated triggers within our email marketing automation platform.

o Peers: Marketing Professional, Strategy Marketing Specialist

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and QA email templates for marketing campaigns to ensure quality execution
• Partner with internal business owner stakeholders to analyze performance, communicate actionable insights, and collaborate cross-functionally to execute optimization tactics.
• Identify target audiences and new segments to grow product adoption
• Manage and optimize the email testing frameworks (split testing (A/B), deliverability and tracking).
• Measure and report on results of campaigns, assessing results against KPIs/goals.
• Responsible for adhering to and communicating email automation best practice including email formatting, list management, optimization, data quality, hygiene and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to write and QA HTML code and/or AMPscript
• Work with internal marketing, business, product and technology teams to understand objectives, troubleshoot current issues and understand end to end workflows.
• Work with internal engineers, developers, and technical product managers to scope business requirements and business value of strategic marketing programs.
• Ability to setup data extensions, filters and data refreshes to create sendable audiences.
• Hands on experience with a marketing automation email platform like Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Ability to automate campaigns, setup journeys and trigger sends
• Strong marketing and business acumen
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices and regulations like CAN-SPAM and CCPA
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  
  
  
  
• Preferred Qualifications:
• BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
• 5+ years email marketing experience, preferably with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Salesforce Certifications: Marketing Cloud Email Specialist; Marketing Cloud Developer preferred
• Experience working with LiveClicker, Litmus, Email on Acid, ZoomInfo, Zero Bounce preferred
• Experience working in Adobe Photoshop is preferred
• Experience in financial services is preferred
• Familiar with Salesforce Marketing Cloud AI
• Certified PMP a plus
• SQL writing experience
• Experience querying data and data storage/gathering experience
