Range: $65k/yr-$74k/yr.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
· Develop, implement, and maintain Health/Safety program in line with regulations and company policies
· Develop, implement, and maintain ISO14001 system and act as Management Representative
· Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and address hazards
· Create and deliver training on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and compliance.
· Collaborate across departments to develop emergency plans and ensure preparedness.
· Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive actions.
· Monitor workplace conditions, equipment, and practices for compliance and improvements.
· Stay updated on regulations and industry practices, adapting policies accordingly.
· Liaise with regulatory agencies and represent the company during inspections
· Oversee and coordinate Plant solid waste and recycling program
· Adhere to all required local, state, and federal reporting and permitting requirements
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
· Expertise in EHS regulations and track record of implementing effective solutions
· Ability to use computers and applicable software (Microsoft Word, Excel) at a high level.
· Strong communication and training abilities for engaging employees at all levels
· Ability to multi-task and successfully operate in a fast paced environment
· Good attention to detail.
Physical Demands
· Frequently in sitting position to perform duties at desk and on computer so must be able to sit for an extended period of time
· Must be able to lift 25 pounds (occasionally).
· Must be able to stand for extended period of time.
· Must be able to reach, squat, walk, climb, crawl and kneel to complete tasks
