About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Estimator with a strong network of General Contractors (GCs) in the New York and New Jersey markets. This position plays a critical role in expanding our competitive footprint by driving new business, bidding accurately, and securing construction contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Bid on new construction projects with a focus on Plan & Spec work
Utilize your existing GC network to generate new business opportunities
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project drawings for accurate cost assessments
Engage directly with GCs to build and strengthen relationships
Prepare, review, and submit competitive and timely bid proposals
Collaborate with internal teams including project managers and leadership to align on bidding strategies
Contribute to company growth by winning bids and securing long-term clients
Requirements
Proven success as an HVAC Estimator, specifically in the New York/New Jersey region
Established network of relationships with General Contractors
Deep industry knowledge in new construction and Plan & Spec projects
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents
Demonstrated ability in proactive business development and winning new work
This is an in-office role at company headquarters in Plainfield, NJ (no remote work)
