About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its philanthropic efforts in the Downeast Region of Maine and Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be a passionate and caring leader, driven by the belief in the power of philanthropy to effect real change. This role requires a commitment to building and supporting effective community solutions, particularly in the areas of children's behavioral health. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, and overseeing the grantmaking program. They must be adept at building and maintaining relationships with nonprofit and funder partners, as well as serving as a spokesperson for the Trust. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in program development, strategic planning, and management, and will embody the values of the Trust, including respect, learning, impact, equity, collaboration, and empathy. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a graduate degree preferred, and a strong background in leadership, strategic planning, and program management. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Trustees, and must be able to anticipate future trends and help the Trust's partners manage change.
