About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Climate Science, Policy, and Action. This role is pivotal in supporting the Vice Provost and leading the office's portfolio and related committees. The successful candidate will be responsible for program management, maintaining partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, and providing strategic input on engagement efforts. The Executive Director will also be involved in in-depth research, and writing, and may oversee a team, manage program budgets, and lead special projects. A Master's degree and 5-7 years' experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required, with a preference for candidates with 10+ years of directly relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in leading cross-organizational initiatives, managing complex programs, and building relationships to advance strategic goals, particularly in the field of climate science, policy, and action. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to support and accelerate campus-wide climate and sustainability action plans. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in program management, strategic planning, and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the success of key initiatives. Experience in climate science, policy, and/or action is strongly preferred, and the candidate should be adept at conducting research, writing reports, and delivering presentations to important stakeholders. The position requires a high level of commitment to the company's mission and the ability to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment.
