Job Description
Good Game Inc is now hiring FedEx Delivery drivers for deliveries and pick-ups from homes and businesses in the Meriden, CT area. Ideal candidates are organized, safe drivers, effectively communicate with customers, convey a positive image of FedEx and manage their daily priorities. Our drivers will be operating step vans, box trucks, or vans provided by the employer, and will be dispatching from the FedEx terminal located at : 29 Toelles Road, Wallingford, CT 06492
CDL License is NOT required! Come and join a great transportation team! Amazon, UPS, USPS, military vehicles, Uber/Lyft, delivery, box truck driving experience, moving company experience, FedEx, or DHL experience is a plus!
Salary Range:$21/hr to start with opportunities to earn bonuses and increases after 6 months
Training Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: Wed-Sun, Sun-Thur, Sat-Wed hours approx 8:30am-5:30pm or until route completion. Must be able to work at least Saturday or Sunday, both is preferred. Incentive pay for working both Sat & Sun.
Delivery Driver Requirements:
Clean Motor Vehicle Record & Criminal Background check
Practicing safe driving techniques
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
1 Year of Driving Experience related to a job in the last three years
Must be able to pass a Drug Test and DOT Medical / Physical Exam (Paid for by Employer)
Must submit to a full background check & Motor Vehicle Record review
Physically able to move or carry a package up to 150 lbs.(hand-truck provided)
Be able to get in and out of your truck 100-200 times a day.
Comfortable working outdoors
Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:
Arrive at the Wallingford FedEx terminal on time to pick up vehicle and packages
Loading and unloading packages to/from truck and organizing them
Delivering and picking up packages at destinations in Meriden, CT
Scanning and logging packages
Obtain signatures when necessary, or take photo at delivery when no signature needed
Daily truck inspections
