Required Skills & Experience
• 1+ years of experience in the OSP fiber construction field
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well with others and individually
• Ability to use own vehicle with valid driver’s license while on contract
• Willingness to do miner physical labor in the field, in the warehouse, or in office
• Willingness to learn and train in the OSP fiber construction industry
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when needed
Job Description
An employer in the Apopka, FL market is looking for an OSP Ground Hand Laborer to join their team. This person will be responsible for helping both aerial and underground fiber construction crews. This person may work in various weather conditions in the field. Expected to drive own vehicle with mileage reimbursement. This person will also conduct duties such as perform inspections, warehouse work, paperwork, use small hand tools, provide reporting, work in office setting and out in the field, assisting linemen, and more.
Compensation
$18/hr to $20/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
