As Part of Our Team, You Will This will be rotational internship inside the corporate finance department that will include experiences with the Internal Audit, Tax, and Accounting functions. The internship will focus on data analytics, process automation, and report building. Support Social Responsibility and External Relations projects Conduct research on environmental and social topics Analyze data and assist with reporting Explore potential partnerships related to biodiversity and water Engage with global teams and contribute to cross-functional initiatives Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in International Studies, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field Strong research, writing, and communication skills Interest in mining or sustainability preferred 3.0 GPA or higher Authorized to work in the U.S. Available for a full-time internship from May-August Your Work Environment Based at our corporate headquarters in Denver, CO Full-time, paid internship (40 hours/week) Potential for travel to operational sites Opportunities for networking with leaders and peers across the organization Why Join Newmont Be part of a company with a global legacy of responsible mining and sustainable practices. The salary range offered for this role is USD $$24.75 (Freshman) - $44.99 (PhD). The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
