Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flooring and a strong background in installation techniques. As a Flooring Installer, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and installing flooring in residential and commercial spaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Measure and assess areas to determine the amount of carpet needed for installation.
• Cut materials according to specifications and prepare surfaces for installation.
• Install using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring a seamless finish.
• Assist in demolition removing damaged flooring and installing new materials.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively during the installation process.
• Read blueprints to understand project specifications and layout requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in installation or related flooring work is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and materials is essential.
• Experience in construction painting, tile laying, or cabinet installation is advantageous.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute installation plans.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

Valid driver license
Math skills including ability to calculate area, percentages, and a basic concept of algebra and geometry.
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with customers and coworkers both oral and written form.
Ability to regularly walk, stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance. Often lift/ move up to 50 pounds.
Frequently lift/ move up to 100 pounds. Occasionally lift/ move 150 pounds.
