Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient loading, unloading, and movement of goods. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Shifts:

2nd Shift   Monday-Friday 2:40pm-11:10pm $17hr

Duties

• Load and unload shipments accurately while ensuring proper handling of products.
  
• Perform order picking tasks efficiently to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.
  
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
  
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
  
• Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and reporting stock levels.
  

Skills

• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and cherry pickers.
  
• Familiarity with order picking processes and distribution center operations.
  
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
  
• Ability to safely load and unload materials while following established safety protocols.
  
• Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety.
  
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment.
  
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
