Amotec Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team. In this role, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery to process titanium materials safely and efficiently. This position also involves operating equipment such as forklifts and loaders, assisting with maintenance, and ensuring safety and organization within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery for processing titanium revert, sponge, and master alloys.
• Safely and efficiently handle equipment used for sorting, cleaning, sizing, blending, and compacting titanium materials.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment as needed.
• Operate forklifts, front-end loaders, and other mobile equipment to transport supplies and materials.
• Perform cleanup operations throughout the facility to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Complete production tasks and shop floor data paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
• Become proficient in using mobile computers for necessary operational functions.
• Train in fire prevention and firefighting techniques specific to titanium fires.
• Communicate equipment, material, and safety-related issues to relief employees.
• Evaluate work areas and equipment at the start and end of shifts to maintain safety standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; additional college or technical training preferred.
• Experience with mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders is highly preferred.
• Strong learning aptitude and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Good problem-solving skills and effective written and oral communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work weekends and holidays as needed.
