Schmidt Construction part of the Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Grading Laborer to work at our Colorado Springs, CO location. The Grading Laborer performs various manual labor tasks in preparing surfaces for grading. Pay: $20-23 Shift/Schedule: Full Time Day Job w/ Nights and Weekends as needed Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Grading Laborer will: Shovel aggregate base course material and or dirt Ability to learn grade and slopes Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, in all types of Weather conditions Willing to perform multiple job tasks. Guide truck to dump material where needed Able to perform work Safely Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Skills The ideal candidate will have: No experience necessary Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and ability to push, pull, and/or pry Ability to sit, stand or walk for an extended period of time and work in an environment with noise and temperature variations Work outside for an extended period of time and ability to work at elevated heights Ability to read, write and speak English Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle To Apply Please submit a resume.
