Job Description: Graphic Illustrator/Vector-Based Desktop Publishing

About the Role

We are seeking a Graphic Illustrator to join our high-paced athletic screen-printing facility. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, well-organized, and thrives in a deadline-oriented production environment. This role focuses on creating, editing, and preparing vector-based artwork for screen printing applications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and prepare vector-based illustrations and designs for screen printing.
• Utilize desktop publishing software (CorelDRAW strongly preferred, other vector-editing programs considered).
• Manage and organize digital artwork files for efficient workflow and retrieval.
• Analyze and troubleshoot vector files for errors, inconsistencies, or printability issues.
• Collaborate with production and customer service teams to clarify design requirements and ensure accurate final artwork.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects/orders under tight deadlines.
• Maintain consistent attention to detail and quality standards across all artwork.
• Adapt designs to meet specific athletic branding and screen-printing requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Graphic Illustrator, Vector Artist, or Desktop Publishing Specialist .
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW (preferred) or other vector-based software such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Strong digital file management and organizational skills.
• Solid problem-solving abilities with a focus on vector analysis and technical artwork adjustments.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to identify and correct small inconsistencies.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize orders in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in a screen printing, apparel, or athletic branding environment .
• Familiarity with color separations, halftones, and screen-printing processes .
• Experience adapting artwork for multi-color athletic designs .
