Hoosier Heroes is seeking experienced, hands-on Handyman professionals to join our dynamic Field Operations team. This is a full-time role suited for self-driven technicians who take pride in their craftsmanship and know how to deliver high-quality results across a variety of residential remodeling and repair tasks. From drywall patches and trim carpentry to painting and detailed builder punch list work, our handymen are vital in keeping our clients satisfied and our projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete builder punch list tasks with precision and professionalism.
  • Perform drywall repairs, texture matching, and painting.
  • Execute trim carpentry, caulking, and minor framing adjustments.
  • Adjust doors, replace hardware, and complete general home repair items.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and office staff to ensure job satisfaction.
  • Assess damage from fire, flood, water, or other insurance-related incidents and create detailed scopes of work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
  • Travel to job sites as needed, with a gas supplement.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of residential handyman or general construction experience.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in drywall, painting, trim work, and builder punch repairs.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a complete set of tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to delivering clean, professional, and high-quality results.
  • Experience with light electrical and light plumbing
