About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Electrical Underground Mining to join its global team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contractors and suppliers at the underground site, ensuring compliance with US electrical regulations, and leading the team in direct, planning, organizing, and controlling departmental activities. This role requires a professional with a strong background in electrical safety, including a thorough knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E standards. The Head of Electrical Underground Mining will also oversee the provision of engineering services, design development, schedule preparation, cost estimation, and material procurement for all construction-related works at the job site. Safety is a top priority, and the role involves liaising with corporate electrical engineers and safety to ensure compliance with all safety policies and technical standards. Applicants for this position must be citizens of the USA or Canada and have a background in underground mining.
