The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It's Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Health Sciences and Behavioral Research Assistant III is under the supervision of the Lead Research Assistant/Research Associate, recruits project participants and administer structured and/or semi-structured questionnaire survey materials. May be responsible for data collection, data entry, and/or study documentation. May be asked to conduct t literature reviews, assists in the development of materials for proposals, presentations, and meetings. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** 2+ years related experience required. + Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative interviewing and recruiting project participants preferred. + Experience using CASI interviewing tools preferred. + Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred. + Prior research experience, particularly in health sciences or behavioral studies. + A front-facing role history involving direct interaction with patients or study participants. + Background or familiarity with substance use or addiction-related work. + Spanish language proficiency, to support participant engagement and data collection in diverse populations. **Education/Licensure/Certification:** High school diploma or equivalent; College education preferred. **Pay Scale Information** $43,680.00-$61,953.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
