We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. ?

• Join our close-knit team of eight physicians and five advanced practice clinicians at Canyon Vista Medical Center.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine


• J1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sounds in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts; all required filing fees for the visa are paid and services covered


• Accepting new graduates, residents, and fellows.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

• 12 hour nocturnist shifts


• Were always there to support each other when covering shifts.


• Full-time nocturnist employment is 120 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation.


• Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.

Sierra Vista, located an hour southeast of Tucson and nestled among scenic mountains, offers an easy commute to Phoenix. Due to nearby Fort Huachuca, Sierra Vista has a significant military and veteran population. It is renowned for its friendly and welcoming community and is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
