Facilities Engineer
Zing Recruiting is seeking a talented HVAC and Plumbing Engineer to join our valued client in Fairfax, Virginia. If you have a passion for engineering excellence and thrive in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you!

About the Role:
As an HVAC and Plumbing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing HVAC and plumbing systems for a variety of projects. You will work closely with a team of engineers and designers to ensure systems meet industry standards and client specifications.

Facilities Engineer Job Summary
Contract
Day shift
Pay: $31.78-$52.97/hr.

• Maintain HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork/piping design.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site visits to inspect installations and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
• Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices.

Facilities Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and plumbing engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
