Role Overview:

As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of aircraft maintenance. Your expertise will directly impact fleet safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. You'll be part of a team that strives for perfection in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct incoming inspections on aircraft or components per customer requests or manufacturer guidelines.
• Document maintenance activities to comply with FARs, our Repair Station Manual, and customer maintenance programs.
• Perform final buy-backs and in-progress inspections to meet stringent quality standards.
• Execute return-to-service and airworthiness releases, ensuring proper documentation in aircraft logbooks and serviceable tags.
• Oversee on-the-job training and maintain audit standards for safety compliance.
• Guide and support scrap bin policies as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• At least three years of experience in heavy aircraft or component maintenance is preferred.
• An FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License or Repairman Certificate is required.
• Familiarity with inspection tools and tolerance determination.
• Ability to work various shifts; previous QC and leadership experience a plus.
