Instructional Designer - SAP Ariba Cloud Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with specialized knowledge of SAP Ariba Cloud solutions to join our implementation team. This role will be responsible for developing comprehensive training materials and learning solutions that enable successful user adoption of our Ariba system. The ideal candidate combines instructional design expertise with practical understanding of Ariba Cloud applications and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop training materials for SAP Ariba Cloud modules including Guided Buying, Guided Sourcing, and Business Network
• Leverage authoring tools such as Vyond, Articulate, and Camtasia to create engaging e-learning modules, video tutorials, and interactive content
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather technical information and translate complex Ariba functionality into user-friendly learning materials
• Develop persona-based training curricula aligned with organizational change management strategy
• Create quick reference guides, job aids, and documentation to support ongoing learning
• Conduct training needs assessments and design appropriate learning interventions
• Facilitate live and virtual training sessions as/if needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in instructional design and e-learning content development
• Demonstrable knowledge of SAP Ariba Cloud modules and procurement processes
• Proficiency with e-learning development tools, specifically Vyond, Articulate Storyline/Rise, and Camtasia
• Experience creating persona-based training materials for enterprise software implementations
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly learning content

"Nice to Have" Qualifications

• SAP Ariba certification or equivalent work experience with the platform
• Experience supporting procurement transformation or Ariba implementation projects
• Knowledge of ADDIE, SAM, or other instructional design frameworks
• Experience delivering training in manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with organizational change management principles
• Project management experience in learning and development contexts
