What does an Intake Specialist do?
This role is the first step in the patient care process. An Intake Specialist is responsible for accepting incoming referrals, ensuring all required documents and orders were received, and processing the referral. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail and should be able to manage a high volume of incoming documents with precision. This position is managed as part of our Intake Department and requires routine collaboration with the operations team as well as the sales department. Hours are Friday 12pm-6pm, every Saturday & Sunday 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday 8:30am – 1pm. Some tasks include:
