Are you an innovative Interior Designer eager to shape impactful spaces and work on diverse projects? Haskell is looking for a creative mid-career Interior Designer to join our Design & Consulting Team, where you'll collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and construction experts to bring exceptional design visions to life on federal projects.

Your role will include:

    Perform. interior design duties related to programming, space planning, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Determine and satisfy building code and sustainability requirements.
  • Select and specify interior finishes, furniture, lighting, artwork, and interior signage.
  • Produce presentation graphics in the form of drawings, sketches, 3D models to appropriately convey design vision to clients and end users.
  • Generate interior construction documents including finish plans, furniture plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with the design and construction team, consultants, vendors, and owners.
  • Participate in field verification, site inspections, shop drawing review, and other related construction administration activities.
  • Collaborate with other interior design staff.

What you'll need to thrive:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited school with 5-8 years of interior design experience.
  • Federal project experience is highly preferred.
  • NCIDQ Certification is required and sustainability credentials such as LEED AP or WELL AP preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, 3ds Max, Rhino, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) are not required but preferred.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
