The Agile RTE & Program Manager II – IT Agile PMO will manage waterfall, Agile, and hybrid programs, overseeing financial, scope, risk, dependency, stakeholder management, and communication with executive leadership. They will ensure the execution of complex IT programs, including full lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and progress reporting. The role may lead a small team of project managers or scrum masters and is pivotal in the Agile transformation, coaching teams and leaders in Agile practices. The role requires flexibility to switch between program management and RTE roles and work in bi-modal environments. Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations (Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA; Chicago, IL; Carlisle, PA; Scarborough, ME) and 2 remote days. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage and deliver complex Agile and Waterfall programs of up to $20M, minimizing scope, budget, and schedule impacts. Partner with finance and project teams to support financial cadences aligned with portfolio financials. Ensure compliance with project delivery methods, tools, frameworks, and IT controls. Develop resource, timeline, and budget plans to create comprehensive project plans. Collaborate on dependencies with related projects and teams. Define clear deliverables, roles, responsibilities, and create project charters. Develop risk management blueprints and manage uncertainties in project launches. Implement technological projects tailored to organizational needs. Report progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders. Ensure project delivery meets stakeholder expectations. Monitor project progress through meetings, KPIs, and standard procedures. Create dashboards for status updates and operational improvements. Coordinate with other program managers to manage interdependencies. Manage cross-project tasks and ensure adherence to release management practices. Lead and support Agile transformations, including facilitating ART events and coaching teams. Mentor project managers and Scrum Masters, fostering an Agile mindset. Manage dependencies and ensure backlog health with Product teams. Oversee financial, risk, and dependency management for Agile teams. Contribute to PMO process improvements and support the transformation from waterfall to Agile. Maintain operational stability, including support for deployments during off-hours. Qualifications: Master’s in Computer Science, Business, or related; equivalent experience/certifications considered. 7+ years project/program management experience, including 5+ years as RTE in Agile projects. Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies, PPM tools like Jira. Understanding of software development lifecycle and ability to adapt in dynamic environments. Data-driven decision making, leadership in ambiguity, and strong communication skills. Financial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to engage with senior leadership. Experience in servant leadership and Agile processes, including SAFe. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or advanced business degree. Agile/SAFe certification. Experience managing Agile, SAFe, Scrum teams; retail experience is a plus. Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., $108,880 - $163,320 in ME/NC/PA/SC and $125,200 - $187,800 in IL/MA/MD.
